I lived down the road from his ranch. He had an office in Lewisville. On the door it had a big Copenhagen and Skoal stickers.Walt Garrison.
For those hat don't remember him, he defined the third-and-short halfback for me. Never flashy, never got even five yard plays, but if you're third and goal from the two he was your guy.
Tough as nails. In the summer he did bull riding at the rodeo.
One of the sadder, most frustrating things of the last couple of decades. I honestly believe a completely healthy Sean Lee was a Hall of Famer. There was no one that screamed team guy or role model more and when he was healthy (yes I know he was seldom healthy) he was a tackling machine on some defenses that were just horrible without him. The instincts and football smarts were off the charts and probably as high as anyone I've seen.As an aside with your TBD for current D players, I'm really sad that Sean Lee is done. He could have been so good if not for his chronic injuryitis. HOF talent with bones like a chicken.
My current players are the same, Dak and TBD (also translated as ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ )
Randy WhiteDefensive Player?
If I split RB to FB as well, that would definitely be the Moose for me.QB - Romo
RB- Dorsett
FB - Ron Springs
TE - Dupree / Cosbie
OL - E. Williams
WR - Drew Pearson/ Irvin
DE - Ware
DT - R. White
LB - Coakley
CB- Kevin Smith / Walls
S- Woodson / Downs
ST- Bates

I feel dirty not having Bill Bates on my list.
I would have to invent a jack of all trades position so I can put him in. Definitely deserves to be on my all time favorite list.
Well done!
Could you imagine having a bunch of players on this team with Bill Bates & Sean lee's Attitude towards team & hard work!
Well in Landry or Johnsons Defensive system. They were all replaceable & interchangeable.Funny thing...all the great defensive players over the years and still never a top 3 or so linebacker ever. Jordan/Howley/Edwards were rock solid back in the day but all were never considered top 3 type league bests at their position. Same with all I can think of throughout the years. Henderson, Lockhart, Breunig, Norton, Smith, Dixon, Lee....none of um. Best LB they ever drafted turned out to be a HOF d-tackle until perhaps this season. I wasn't one wanting Parsons before the draft, but I'm pretty darn excited with the camp hype.
