How a team goes from a top 5-10 OL to easily the worst OL in the NFL ( all while keeping the same players ) is truly astounding
I guess the logic in hiring Saturday is to fix that problem.

Doesn't seem like the smartest plan for a job that encompasses alot more than getting some bigass guys to do block defenders but what do I know. The NFL is a strange beast.

It's looking more and more like it was Pederson. But Reich may be an OK coach, I think the Indy owner and GM may have been the real problem there.
They are.

Ballard isn't a very good GM at all.

i actually like the Jeff saturday choice...

Seriously i do... the colts are basically tanking, why waste time hiring anyone for the future?? so this is only temporary, unless magic happens...

If it is going to be temporary, why not make it news worthy?? and why give one of your most beloved players of all time the job?? Also, if he can teach that offensive line anything, then that is another positive...

I actually give the colts credit for this choice...

I don't know. This seems to just set him up for failure. If he has any aspirations of coaching in the future, his fingerprints are going to be on this dumpster fire through no fault of his own.

Don’t see how things can be worse. It’s not like he is going to call plays. He will let the offensive and defensive coordinator do their jobs. With very little push back.

Hiring Jeff Saturday is a pretty telling sign that Frank Reich was their ultimate scapegoat. They should have gone with this guy.

too bad they went straight to race with this hire.
Why would a black coach want this interim job? it would be a death sentence to him later.

All this straight to race stuff deflects from the sandbagging I can only guess that their plan is.

If Saturday does an Oh fer or a one fer the rest of the way. Would there be an investigation?
I dont know who they would be sandbagging for, but that is my assumption right now.

Really didnt expect Frank to get fired midseason. Not sure how that was gonna help.

I think Fitzmagic nailed it.

The person that should be calling plays for the Colts right now is Matt Ryan!

Damn on GMFB Joe Thomas & the whole group this morning tore into the Decision.
Schrager even went so far as to say he hired his drinking buddy

Joe Thomas brings up how much he (the owner) insulted every coach in the NFL, which brings me up to this question.
How many Colts coaches do you think leave or would leave if the contractually could before next season. You know they got to be doubly feeling the insult.

I blame philly, for the contract and their evaluation of the position.
They went stupid over 13/14 games, just like their fans.
Fucked up the market for everyone.

They didn't set the market. They signed Wentz for what the market price was set by the Rams and Goff at $30M a year. It's the Cowboys who were dumb as fuck and kept waiting until the market went up to $40M per year before finally signing Dak.

Dak was the standard rate while your team thought they were smart getting a discount.

Eagles accelerated the QB market, and you want to say who was dumb as fuck?? LOL
nevermind the talent these teams put their money behind.

sit your blind homer ass down
