Jones has at least drafted pretty well as the owner-GM.

Davis became god awful at drafting, in addition to all the meddling, though he was once great at it.
And it shows, the Cowboys are still usually in the playoff hunt at least most years. The Raiders hardly had any success for the last 15-20 years Davis ran things.

I don't think so. Audacy owns the station
Correct. The Cowboys just partner with the fan. So technically, if Jerry made the call, he could have someone else run his radio spots. I think trying to get them fired would bring a shitstorm down on Jerry nationally that even he wouldn't be ready for. It wouldn't so a lot to hurt those guys. Shan and RJ have the most popular show in the metroplex and would have a gig 2 minutes later. Shan may even be a national type guy one day

If Jerry bites his tongue and Jimmy stays and if Jerry doesn't win his push to institute a Salary Cap, as young and deep as that squad does, there is no telling how many Rings they pull in

There was a time when the Boys were led by men. Imagine how Aikman and Irvin would respond to these soft ass Cowboys players.

Jerry Jones didn't like the question posed to him on the radio show on 105.3.
It was about no off season moves.
Jerry threatened to fire the broadcaster.

The COWBOYS at home, at halftime have been outscored 110 to 35.
They have been beaten at home (4 games) badly tying an NFL record.
Jerry is all in on B.S.
He can't take criticism.
He is an asshole but he owns that radio station and they are supposed to be shills for the Cowboys and make Jerry look good. He's not paying them to make him look stupid; he can do that all on his own.

Jerruh doesn’t own that radio station.

It’s owned by a giant, nationwide, bankrupt outfit.

He’s not paying them anything. The station pays him for the broadcast rights. In theory anyway, the network is a few billion in debt.

In all seriousness, Dak seems like a good dude. He's probably a nice guy off the field.

He's not an ice cold killer though. He's simply not that guy. Pretty good player, but he seems to lack the fire in the belly that an Aikman or Lamar Jackson or the true gamers have.

Why does Jerry say "I will get someone else to ask me these questions". Sounds like he can hire and fire to me

The Cowboys give The Fan more access than any station, essentially partnering with them. Jerry couldn't "fire" them himself, but he could pressure the station into having someone else so his radio show or even possibly get them let go if he told the Station us or them
