Almost identical offensive stats as they had with Zach. And we were told a 41 yr old Rodgers was a massive upgrade and the roster is loaded. They might still right the ship because anything can happen but it doesn't look good.
I think I've figured this out. Grimace needed a sacrifice for the Mets blood magic run to continue. I am on to you, New York Mets fans.
I also had that thought but I know Carroll is still under contract to the Seahawks. I'm sure they'd trade him at zero trade cost but Carroll is being paid $15M to sit at home. He has no good reason to give that up.Did anybody mention Pete Carroll yet? I didnt read all 4 pages.
Everyone has an excuse. Saleh had a 20-36 record as a HC. Fair or not this was coming. It just came a bit earlier than most of us were expecting.Robert Saleh had a raw deal and I think is pretty unfair he got fired. He was hired to coach Zach Wilson a guy he didn't even pick. In the drafts he made solid selections garrett wilson and sauce gardner. Then the Jets traded for AR, gets hurt in his debut so he was stuck with Wilson again the entire season. Then 4 games with AR into this season he gets fired.
I agree. By the end of the season, fans will surely have lots of takes/opinions regarding timing and if the decision made sense, lolFair or not this was coming.
Its all we have left49ers fans sure can dream
I'm one of the few that didn't buy into the hype.Almost identical offensive stats as they had with Zach. And we were told a 41 yr old Rodgers was a massive upgrade and the roster is loaded. They might still right the ship because anything can happen but it doesn't look good.
There's millions of reasons why a solid DC or OC would accept a head coach offer even if they know they aren't cut out for it. Literally millions of reasons.Yeah, he's going to get plenty of offers and should really take a page out of Spagnolo's book and just be content to be a DC. HC is just not a good fit for him. Of course, Spagnolo is in a perfect situation and winning rings but I think guys like these and Fangio and others are just better off on that side of the ball and not having to deal with all the other stuff.
YeapFiring Saleh now is kinda pointless other than to appease the diva.
Be on the lookout for Rodgers' new book, set to hit shelves this holiday season, titled "If I Had Fired Saleh"
Good, make Rodgers listen to an actual coordinator for once, that should go wellNathaniel Hackett stripped of play-calling duties in another huge Jets change
Offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett has not escaped the Jets’ changes unscathed.nypost.com
