Not surprised. They have fallen apart this season. I thought they had it made with Matt Ryan. True, he's past his prime, but historically didn't make many mistakes. A perfect spot for him to be a game manager with a handful of big games, but it just didn't work.

Lucky for Ballard, he signed his extension this offseason.

It still shocks me that some GM's dont realize that a bad OL can ruin EVERYTHING on offense. And getting a serviceable OL isn't even really that hard especially when you have one or two studs like Nelson in place.

Bad OL and just chasing after older QBs at a time when most teams are developing QBs due to insane value from rookie QB contracts.

Colts had shots at Tristan Wirfs and Darrisaw. Took Nelson one pick before Josh Allen. Missed out on Deebo and AJ Brown. Colts made a lot of good moves and missed all the great ones.

But if they tank the rest of the year, Colts could bounce back next year with a young QB and maybe some more OL depth
