Imagine, though.... if RWIII develops over the course of the season towards his potential... we might not need any more deals... we might already be there, man.

I don’t know yet what we need but we have some cool headed all business defenders.

Have a beer and a victory cigar, @The Q . :D

C's stole a win with 3 guys injured in their front court... probably lucky we were playing the Knicks, though.

Wrong pooh character....

but I'm just saying, that's a terrible shot. You don't want to count on hitting difficult shots like that.

That win @ San Antonio was the first for Boston since 2011.

I'd be psyched if not for the Gordo injury. :(

Relax buddy... you was playing a western team and not one of the better five in their weak playoff ranking... piece of cake!

You better celebrate if you can beat the Clippers and the Rockets in their home, like the Bucks did.

Just dawned on me... double whammy for Hayward:

Gordo is a big-time gamer... bum hand means his video game outlet isn't as available during this recovery process.

Bummer.

I hate it too. However, he's in his 10th season and it's only his second injury that will cause him to miss significant time. More unfortunate for the Celtics than for his career.

Langford had a sick nite in D league. His hand is now healthy and he looks every bit the top 5 pick he was suppose to be. We will see him more in the weeks ahead after a month or so with the claws. Next man up

Personally, I'd like to see Langford stay in D League and get serious minutes there... he missed so much time this off-season... he needs the seasoning.

With Devonte Green stepping up, I prefer him as a candidate for more minutes.

This is also a great opportunity for Grant Williams... (who is competing out there, but needs to find a shot at some point).

If and when Kanter gets healthy, the C's could also transition to a few more traditional (as opposed to small-ball) line-ups to cover minutes.

I know a Lakers fan (me) who had more faith in the Celtics going into this season than some of you Celtics fans.

Just sayin'.

Speaking for myself... I think my preseason analysis has been pretty spot-on so far... strengths and weaknesses have been right where I said they would be.

The only area I've been a lil off is in not calling how good the defense has been to start the season...

... but, in fairness, Enes Kanter has been injured virtually the entire season... that oaf hasn't had his chance to single-handedly bring down the whole defense... something he is more than capable of. :D
