Now is the time to remember how the Celtics claimed they really won the last they got their asses kicked - So obviously the Celtics cheated and really didn't win

lol... fair enough.

Enjoy the Bronny years in L.A. :D
I believe the Lakers have already given up on this season and are hoping that Junior is as good as the old man- Looks like the Celtics may repeat next year -

Junior even being in the same ballpark as the old man is a laughable hope.

And that is the reason I said that the Lakers season this year is a lost hope - Next year, they will blame the coach and fire him and try another year

I can see the Celtics three-peating if they can stay healthy. It will be interesting to see what type of impact Klay Thompson has on the Mavericks and if they can get through a tough conference in order to play the Celtics again.

The Mavs won't, Klay is toast.

Very possible. There are a lot of good teams in the West. I was just wondering how much Thompson may have left. But if he has enough left to spell both Irving and Doncic with some quality minutes, I don't see why they can't challenge for the title again.

Depends on the new owner

And what they can do if they get under the second apron next year

Hard to say. He's what? 36? and coming off of a blown Achilles. That's a tough injury for a young player to come back from...nearly impossible for a player Klay's age.

His impact will be determined by how often he's able to play close to how we're used to seeing him play.

As I posted earlier, it'll be similar to Kobe. He'll still have some of those "Klay games" that show us how great he was. But not as many as we're used to. One advantage that he has over Kobe is that his game doesn't depend on his athleticism as much as Kobe's did. So, he should be able to have a few more "Klay games" than Kobe had "Kobe games".

I think they would be wise to keep him as three point shooter on the outside -Less running and he has shown the ability to get it done-If they try to teach him defense - they are screwed like the Lakers, and Clippers
