Do I dare call this team a sleeper?

The Phoenix Suns.

Mike Budenholzer will fix the offense... They added two solid if unspectacular options at the PG position with Tyus Jones and Monte Morris, a spot that was non existent for them last season...

In a Western Conference loaded with uncertainty, the Suns will be much improved provided their three scorers are able to stay on the court.

I agree with you here 'Cane. The quiet addition of a couple of solid point guards is going to make a huge difference for the Suns. I think it boosts the offense right up there to the upper echelon, but still need to improve the D to really be there.

Not sure they are considered a sleeper though.

Can a team that was a 6 seed last year and improved their main weakness be a sleeper? Or is it just a good team.

If you are talking about competing for a championship, maybe can be considered a sleeper still since no one outside a top 3 seed wins the title (yes, I know there have been exceptions, but exceedingly few).

Any team over the 2nd apron is not a sleeper. That spent money is out front and driving expectations.

They're going to need to average about 140 pts per by the way things are looking

Sleeper? The minute they traded for KD they were a championship contender bc of the tax implications alone, add in KD forcing his way out to play with another star. Then they traded for Beal.

They were championship contenders in most eyes after they made these moves so they have underachieved. I guess you are saying they will be who they are expected to be? Maybe but I like a couple teams in the west over them. Maybe a 2nd round team this year...if they are lucky

That was a damn good game last night. Too bad the wrong team won. :D
6 point game and you guys were missing Porzingas and JB. Wouldn't be surprised if you guys make the playoffs....

Their ceiling this season is a play-in game loss.

Without Durant, the Suns are nothing, 1/5
