Maybe, Or maybe replaced him sooner and the Hawks win 27-20 because Lock doesn't take a sack taking them out of FG range or throws a Pick at the end of the 1st half. Or do you know that wouldn't have happened? Did you not see that Geno was throwing only "short" passes at the end? Or are you just blatantly defending him again? LMFAO you fight the good fight stand by your man.
I'm not defending him. Geno is a slightly above league average QB. Nothing more.

But benching your starting QB when you are playing for 1st place is such a dumb and emotional move.

You are just hoping and praying that Lock will be something he hasn't been in his career.

We had a lot of very short gain runs. Charbs and K9 had 119 yards but 67 of those yards were on 2 runs.

Tough to stay with the run on 2nd and 8.

And our short yardage offense is terrible.
OK... So then they had 11 rushes for 52 yards... Still decent... If you take 2 long runs away, gotta take the 2 short runs away, too... We passed a lot on 1st and 10...

Missed the ending of the game (had take the grand daughter to work) was real happy to see the Seahawks pulled out a win. Better yet the 49ers lost, so Seahawks are division leader, love that. Need to take this a game at a time and enjoy the high’s.

You 100% can Question it, Don't be complacent just because we won. Just good enough is never "Good enough"!

Just good enough just means you draft late every year and never win a playoff game.
No one's being complacent... The defense didn't play as well either... But when our defense doesn't play as well and Geno played poorly and we still won, that's good news...

No Geno is slightly below average with some of the best supporting talent surrounding him in the NFL. The Hawks offense is LOADED. The Oline is getting better the RB room is top flight, The TE are very strong as a group maybe not top flight but just one step down, and the WR's as a group i would say is the best WR room in the NFL. The offense has the talent to carry a young QB and maybe that was always the plan, now they just need that QB because Geno is holding them back more than any other position in the offense.

You should run on 1st down. Probably about half the time.

Your running game driven by situation. 2nd and long is a tough time to run especially when your short yardage offense sucks.

I'm sure there are times they could have ran the ball. But until we can get our short yardage offense to work a little we are never going to be able to rely on the running game

And they can focus on that in the offseason.

But Geno is the guy THIS season and if they bench him that means the season has gone tits up.

to be fair the defense got Jobbed a lot today on 3rd downs. I swear to god every 3rd down the Browns faced a flag was thrown against the Defense. Did they play good? No but it would have looked a lot better had the refs played it even. If they are going to call ticky tack penalties on one team they HAVE to do it for both teams. If they are going to let them play, then they HAVE to allow it for BOTH TEAMS. That was something they were not doing today. They called it tight on Seattle and Loose for the Browns.

WEll, I predicted ugly and it definitely turned out that way. This Cleveland defense is legit but damn, too many mistakes across the board. Lots on Geno. Just lost it after a fantastic start to the game. Defense stepped up in the end and at least Geno did what he had to do when it mattered most. Fucking penalties killed us all game long. All in all, happy with the win and happy to be in 1st place in the div. Although it will likely be short lived. Expect to be tied with San Fran after next week with them 1 up in div games.

Who are the 16 QBs you would rather have than Geno?

See i don't believe this, Geno isn't head and shoulders better than Lock. If anything I would say they are close to the same BUT Lock still can grow Geno is who he is and has done all the growing he is going to do. In other words Geno is a 33 Year Old Madden QB with a Max 69 rating and Lock is a 26 year old with a 68 rating. Only one will improve as the other declines. We saw Lock this preseason a Lot and he looked very good for 2 games and then Geno like for one game. imagine what he could have did playing with the starters something he DIDN'T get to do. Our Offensive skill players can CARRY a guy. I am not and never have said Lock is better than Geno. What i have said is he looked the part and he can still IMPROVE, Geno yeah no only thing he will do is regress and so far this season that is 100% what we have seen from him, regression.

I can easily answer that. There are a handful at best the way they are currently playing. At least 25 QBs have major flaws at the moment. Even the bona fide elite group have struggled at times. I think the defenses are starting to catch up.

Eh, maybe but Lamar is playing really well right now. I would be surprised if we can go in there and shut them down and I doubt our offense does much the way we have played of late. The entire AFCN is a gauntlet of really good defenses.

Yup. There are about 10 QBs I would easily take over Geno. I don't think there are 4 QBs in the NFC I would take

Tua
Cousins
Allen
Hurts
Stafford
Mahomes
Lawrence
Goff
Carr
*Rookie Stroud
Purdy
Borrow
Jackson
Herbert
Prescott ( EWW)
Mayfield
WILSON ( he has out played Geno )
Levis

Proven guys or younger guys with upside, Hell I would also take
Minshew
Pickett
Dalton
Young

You might think i am nutts but the issue is I believe our offense has the talent to carry a QB to another level and if they are young and still have upside thats a good thing. If they are not as young but can read a defense they all ready got Geno beat. GENO CAN NOT READ A DEFENSE! even the announcers basically said that in this game. The also said he wasn't getting off his first read till it was "TO LATE" Hell the BROWNS QB today might have put up 30 points with our offensive talent around him.
