Looks like coach and GM being fired today. Comical...maybe they should hire someone that will bring back cooke to kill penalties and take out players knees to win series..haha! That's what that team is missing!

OK so bylsma is still alive for now but they're leaving this to the new GM hard to say what will happen. Maybe Mario will end his hypocritical days and find someone who will find players that want to play hockey instead of cheap shot everyone...they'd probably be more successful. Although if crosby continues to whine and sulk they won't be going any where. Sorry for offending any pen fans I just call it as I see it!

I wouldn't normally throw a post in here, however... It seems as though I agree 100%. Supposedly the new GM is going to evaluate all staff and make decisions from there. Maaaaaannnnnnn. Never in a million years did I think Dan would get the pass. I think Shero did a top 3 GM job and Dan managed his talent poorly. The entire city of Pittsburgh feels this way too. The only way they can redeem themselves after this move is to make Billy Guerin GM.

If Billy G becomes gym I think we see a lot more of that pens islanders nonsense from a few years ago. Then again surrounding Crosby, Malkin, Letang & Neal maybe the best move ever for the pens.

I was also surprised that Shero was let go that's why I made the post. I think Dan has run his course but somehow they've managed to can the wrong guy! I don't think Shero was the guy who told the players to focus on the nonsense this has to come from the coach so maybe Mario actually likes it if he's keeping him. Thoughts???

Surprised that Shero is taking the fall...but not at the same time.
The Penguins have been getting weaker and less skilled behind Crosby and Malkin over the last couple years and it is the GM's job to fill those holes.

If he is let go I hope they sign Torts to be thier next coach, he will dismantle that team just like he does to every team he gets his hands on!
