I do seem to recall a fluky WS win against a very good NL team back in 2003. Other than that, the Angel's history is mostly about Nolan Ryan, Rod Carew (post-Twins), and the wife-swapping pitchers in the early 70's.

Trust me, it was 2002. I was, unfortunately, there.

You are skipping some recent players bigger than those guys: Trout and of course Ohtani
