There are the occasional players/hitters who don't do as well against the inconsistent pitching in the minors as they do against big league pitchers, rare though it is. The only thing is advanced stats saying it might not be repeatable but like @sf1giantfan said I have irrational Faith he will be near the player he showed last year...Fingers crossed!

FWIW Corbin Burnes is close to a year younger than Max Fried. If Fried is getting 8 years, there's a good chance that Scott Boras is pushing for 7+ with Burnes.

If we had a choice, should we get Burnes or one of the Japanese pitchers. Unfortunately more than likely the dodgers will get at least one of the Japanese pitchers maybe both.
