Way too much money.
I have faith in him and expect him to play above his head in the 2025 season as well.I think we all knew as it was happening that it wasn’t the “real” Fitz.
We can appreciate him, while still acknowledging he was playing above his head.
Based on…I have faith in him and expect him to play above his head in the 2025 season as well.
There are the occasional players/hitters who don't do as well against the inconsistent pitching in the minors as they do against big league pitchers, rare though it is. The only thing is advanced stats saying it might not be repeatable but like @sf1giantfan said I have irrational Faith he will be near the player he showed last year...Fingers crossed!Based on…
FWIW Corbin Burnes is close to a year younger than Max Fried. If Fried is getting 8 years, there's a good chance that Scott Boras is pushing for 7+ with Burnes.Fried off the board. Need Flaherty or one of the Japanese guys. I don’t think we can compete for Burnes.
He would be our 4. I wouldn’t pay a lot for him.I could talk myself into Flaherty.
That would blow my mindPer Feinsand, Giants and Jays frontrunners for Burnes. Seeking a deal in excess of Fried.
Almost as good as Chapman and Snell…If we were to get Adames and Burnes in the same offseason....
All Hail Buster!
He got Chapman twice! Well him and FZ to be fair.Almost as good as Chapman and Snell…
FZ was stalling, Posey had to step in to make it happen. Those are the facts, and I’m not changing them one bit.He got Chapman twice! Well him and FZ to be fair.

Not sure what it would cost (he will be a FA after ‘25), but on the surface, I like the possibility.
Yikes. But this is what it costs to play with the big boys. Sucks to be in the Dodgers division.ESPN today:
"the path has been cleared for Corbin Burnes to ink the highest offseason contract for a pitcher this winter. The Giants remain the favorites for his services, which likely will come at a cost closer to $300 million than $200 million.”
