Must read recap of day 1 pads

It would be great if Fehoko can fill that hole clogger role in the middle. He's no Alualu in his prime, (he has no pass rush) but if he can just shut down the bleeding, it will go a long way.

Love hearing good things about both Fehoko, Benton & Watts. This DL is suddenly flush with depth. Cuts are going to be difficult.

Via Nick Farabaugh @ SteelersNow:

– Elandon Roberts and Mark Robinson pancaked new running back John Lovett on back-to-back reps in dominant fashion. I’m still not sure if Lovett knew what hit him when it happened. Robinson dominated this entire period. Roberts did mostly the same, including another one where he cracked Anthony McFarland back with a thunderous impact.

lmao... poor guy just got signed & gets absolutely rag-dolled in the first padded practice.

^ Will Mitch or Kenny have the arm to keep up with him is a huge question.

I’ve seen Kenny drop 60yd dimes in college… and now he’s saying he put on some arm strength. I think KP’s got the arm. It’s the offense calling the right plays that I’m more worried about.

Yeah all this deep stuff in practice is just to tease us. Come week 1 it will be curl route after curl route/jet sweep...etc..

Exactly. Makes it reaaaaal difficult to get excited about all these videos. But 1 thing that is really going to make a difference that isn't being talked about as much is KP's ball placement is light years ahead of where it was this time last year. Every video I'm seeing he's making excellent throws. Mostly to the sidelines so not exactly a glowing endorsement of the middle of the field problem they've had, but its something. And his improved arm strength plays a big part in these ball placements.

Sure, lets just completely overlook the inept offensive playcalling & go straight for the koolaid...

Always liked Neal's physical playstyle but his body doesn't seem to hold up very long.
