My guess is rolls over for Tomlin on command.
Probably.

Dude had one of the worst OLs in Carolina, gets canned and somehow lands a job in Pgh.

Steelers OL continues to digress... Even worse than when coaches Sarrett & Klemm took over.

Injuries really killed his career, was hoping he could have been a good 3rd or 4th db on the roster.

And I guess Bishop and Rush were playing well enough to let him go?

Color me very f*cking concerned about Broderick Jones at the moment...
I thought maybe it was due to the moving between LT and RT and not letting him stay at LT, thanks to the fact Dan Moore is incomptent and can only play LT (poorly at that).

But Trai is making some good points here:

Rush, Trice & Bishop have looked really good this offseason.

If Trice or Rush turn out to be better options than Jackson, then this team is going to look foolish for dealing Diontae Johnson away and leaving their WR corps as tragically thin as it is.

But Trai is making some good points here:

His upper body mechanics have always been his issue. He was knocked on that at Georgia & in his scouting reports. His hand placement & punch are very inconsistent, leaving him vulnerable to power rushes. He may have gotten away with it due to not enough film out there on him, but now everyone knows his weakness & will attack it.

You would think a capable coach would be able to teach him these mechanics, but Pat Meyer is obviously not the right guy. If he can't get these mechanic issues down then I fear he's trending towards being a bust.

Mims is available again, hopefully the Steelers don't bite on him again. I would rather they can throw a conditional 7th for Marshall.
At this point thought not sure more random depth at the WR position is worth it but anything with the hope it sticks will be nice.

I didn't think Watkins was bad wondering if they have plans to bring in another receiver or WIlson is just that good.

Strange move given the lack of depth. He was the main outside X/Y backup.
