I think it's very likely these two end up being LT and RT next year. So they might be temporarily in competition, but they have a future here together.

ILB... Maybe they finally got their coverage LB figured out. Hope he can stay healthy (knocks on wood). Sounds like Kwon is securing the Mack ILB position. Roberts & Holcomb will battle it out for the Buck.

S... Found the 3-safety set interesting in that they moved Minkah underneath and into the slot. In the past this is where Minkah has struggled. Not sure this is a good move since he's better suited as a centerfielder, but I'll reserve judgement for now. I'm all for camp experimentation.

RB3... Sounds like they might have finally found some true competition for RB3 with newcomer Valladay. I know Ant McFarland is havin a good camp, but he has struggled to make the leap in the past. Hoping this newfound success isn't simply a result of diminished competition.

DL... Benton was full go yesterday. Glad his injury isn't carrying over into the next preseason game. Can't for the life of me understand why they still have Adams running with 1st team DL @ NT when Fehoko is simply dominating 2nd team reps. If the last preseason game was any indicator, then Adams should not be anchoring anymore.

OL... Makes me sick to my stomach that Kendrick Green is still primary backup at C. Sounds like the blocking yesterday during team periods was abysmal on the edge. Not a glowing endorsement for the OTs.

Fellas, I know its presrason and to not get overly-excited, but....DAMN the team looked good against Buffalo last night, and that was WITH the starters from both teams playing. Nick Herbig looks like a very real possibility for being the steal of the draft, and Pickett looks very comfortable so far. And now a healthy Calvin Austin III is showing why they picked him. Again, I know its only preseason, but I am pumped for the potential this team has!

Lots of potential. The roster talent is flush, but I have to pump the breaks a little given this staff's aptitude for disappointment. Obviously enjoying the excitement though. This draft & last year look like we got a bunch of steals.
