still wonder if the Rangers don't attempt to trade WillieEvan Grant commenting about which Ranger would be affected most about the new no shift policy.
It should also help new Ranger Corey Seager, who was the 25th most shifted player in baseball last year. Seager saw shifts in 78.9 percent of plate appearances. When he was shifted, Seager had a Weighted On-Base Average (wOBA) of .380; when he wasn’t shifted, it went to .423.
It could also be of benefit to Willie Calhoun, who saw shifts 72.9 percent of the time. But Calhoun actually did more damage (.309 wOBA) when he was shifted than when he wasn’t (.279).
