Good point. We can all hope.
As there hasn't been any "contact" I going to just throw out there...Repetitive motion injury?

Just a thought. Maybe he has been throwing so much this off season to get to where he has a chance to compete for the job and prove he has what it takes that he hasn't instituted any throw count and may have even tried to work through anything that bothered him.

Just a thought. Maybe he's just fragile, weak.

surgery would not help a recent repetitive motion injury. he could have developed a bone spur from prior injury, could be a tear, could be arthritis, could be inflammation. shoulders are complex. I'm sure they will do an MRI on it.

Sould be just bad luck. "Time and chance happens to every man"

not sure why anyone is worried about him since BB wont give him a chance

Patriots QB Jarrett Stidham underwent surgery to repair a back injury.

The Patriots have a three-month timetable for Stidham, ruling him out for the rest of training camp and the first few weeks of the regular season. It doesn't change much in New England's quarterback plans, as Stidham was behind Cam Newton and rookie Mac Jones. The Patriots claimed QB Jake Dolegala off waivers from the Packers to compete with Brian Hoyer for the No. 3 job.

Okay looking for tech savvy dudes or dudettes. According to the link I could potentially watch most or all of the Pats games by downloading this app. I of course have a smart TV which streams off my WiFi so if I understand this I could 1. Download App on my TV. 2 Allow Access 3. Watch the Pats game. Am I reading this correctly?

Yep.

My grandson says to download and test the stream with their available videos. They do require your location. Not for anything other than to get data on how well and how far their signal is being transmitted. If you get dialed in, you'll get every Pats game on your phone and/or TV.

It states "Geographic and device restrictions apply". I believe that means it won't let you stream outside the home media market. Translation: If you want to watch outside the market you'll need to pay for a "GamePass".

I'm not answering your question directly but Bilasport works pretty good when all else fails.

Ahh good to know. The Pats site indicates it should be available anywhere so now I will have to see. I guess I need to check out game pass too.

Patriots ownership was instrumental in getting the NFL to drop the non TV coverage local if the game wasn't sold out. Johnathan Kraft worked with the NFLPA to get multiple games shown nationwide if a local team wasn't playing.

Kraft is the leader of owners that are against NFL PPV. The only thing that is preventing PPV is that the big networks are still willing to pay huge dollars and can get huge advertising dollars for every broadcast.

This is why DirecTV's Sunday Ticket is such a huge seller. You can watch every game being played or pick a single game to watch until your team is playing. I'm shocked that the NFL hasn't taken over that. It's a huge money maker could force the NFL Network to be a main attraction of any sports package that subscribers pay for.

By the way. Teams' values were released this week.

#1 Dallas Cowboys $6,300,000,000

#2 New England Patriots $5,600,000,000

Not bad for a $476,000,000 investment and a self funded $426,000,000 stadium. Of course having a new casino, a leading edge research hospital and shopping mall at One Patriots Place doesn't hurt either.

The NFL is sticking to a quickly dying dinosaur of a model. Granted, they're making billions doing it so fighting to keep it makes sense.

That said, people want to watch what they want to watch and are getting used to things like Netflix and Prime where they can pay for a subscription to watch what they want.

It pisses me off that because I don't live in NE anymore I have to jump through stupid fucking hoops to watch a NE game. I would happily pay a premium to watch the Pats every game every season without all the stipulations and hurdles.

This is my thing. If the NFL would have a way to pay them to watch a team of your choice say $5.00 per game that would be $85.00 per person subscribing to their team or a full season for $70.00 one time payment. I would so do that.

I get every game including preseason and playoffs. Gamepass is $99 and it is easy to use. I'm paid for this season and I weill watch the Pats tomorrow, Buffalo Friday and Miami Saturday. I can watch preseason live and watch regular season after game is complete. I might watch last years game#1 tonight .

The fact that Sunday Ticket is still only available on DirecTV is malarkey.
It should be available on every distribution service. AT&T, Spectrum, Dish, Comcast, Xfinity. All of them.
Amazon Prime as well.
