He says that he feels better right now han he has since he injured his knee the first time. He had the knee cleaned up and injected with stem cells. zhe'll b ready to go once camp starts.

Hopefully he will be but should the Patriots truly count on his this year?

If they show up in shape and with the right attitude, you gotta trust them. From all that he's said, you know he's committed.

I'mwondering if he's one of the WRs that's been working out with Stidham out west.

Yes.

Even at 80% JE11 is still a threat that requires teams to account for him.

Combined with Agholor, Boure, Meyer and two pass catching TEs this is an offense DCs will have fits about.

That would be great. JE11 could really help Stid's development.

David Andrews is back for 4 years!

Funniest part of this, Yahoo reported signing with Miami. A tidal wave of reports followed with reports quoting yahoo as sorce. Then there were many reports saying Andrews was gone because we signed Karras and Andrews was testing free agency, therefore it was certain!
Neither Belichick nor Flores nor Andrews was talking to the reporters, They just made it up. When it was reallized that it was bullshit. Nobody fessed up. It was not until Andrews signed with Pats that Yahoo said, "turns out he wasn't leaving after all" All who claimed knowledge owe us an apology!

Pats Signing Raekwon McMillan

Former Dolphins and Raiders LB signs one-year deal with Patriots (NFL Network)

25 YO LB had a great 2018 season with Dolphins.
Traded to Raiders before they signed a LB for $10 million / year. Covid kept him from learning raiders system.
Never fit in Raiders system but he'll get a shot to revive what looked like a promising career.
2nd round pick was rated 2nd best middle linebacker in draft by some.
Killer 2018 season........

"What is striking about this group, at least the key members who earned semi-substantial guarantees — Smith, Godchaux, Judon, Mills, Wise, Bourne and Henry — is their average age is 26. All just completed their rookie contracts, which means, they are entering the prime of their careers."

Yes this is true. I was just thinking I heard that he wasn't even 80%. So him going out there would only do more harm than good.

I still (minus the age thing) shaking my head on the Agholor signing

Are we playing nest Sunday? I'd be worried if we only had a couple of weeks to get ready.
We know that Edelman's time is coming soon. Maybe this year, maybe not......

I cannot agree with this.

Some positions especially WR / TE / RB are all about a system the player is in, a player can be great in one system then not so great in another. We have seen this with Pats receivers that have gone to other team only to become less than average.

Contrarily, Wes Welker was an average no name until his recruitment by BB.

Cordarrel Patterson was also not much of a contributor anywhere but in New England.

Exactly some time a player gets put into a new system and excels sometime not. What we hope is that our GM slots players he feels will work in our system. This is why Van Noy is back
