N'Keal Harry requests trade.

Ummmm there is no value in a trade for the Pats. Unless we trade him back to Arizona State and are allowed to grab any player on their team.

There are things that worry me in life, drunk dudes with guns, war, snakes and BB drafting a WR

N'Keal Harry requests trade.

So...he knows if he doesn't succeed this year, his career is likely done and he doesn't like the competition he is facing in camp in order to get the starting gig. So he would rather go somewhere with a really weak WR corps then step up his game and prove his value.
That combined sinks his value for a trade.

Ya. I can't imagine what the Pats would actually get for him. I guess an even trade with another team for a struggling player they no longer want as well?

No idea.

A 1st round pick can't shine in what is largely considered the worst receiving group in the NFL. Even with the new additions he should've been receiver# 1.

No one knows what he'll bring. It's all up to the teams that want him.
It's been said that the Patriots tried to trade him last year and couldn't get a dime on a dollar.

Nick Caserio might be willing to take him but he'll want something else or someone else.

Harry is in the position of saying, "You can't fire me so I quit."

Harry is owed $2M this year. If the Pats release him and signs with another team, whatever he get will be taken out of what the Pats owe him.

One of two things will most likely happen:
1. The Pats will get a conditional 6th or 7th round pick that could become a fourth or fifth if Harry shines.
2. Another team will offer a player that they don't think will make their roster as a swap.

Harry has value. Many receivers could not cut it in NE.
Many teams are going to look at our QB and say, the kid doesn't have a fair chance there.
Somebody will look at him as a very gifted WR that needs a freash start - out of NE

I disagree I think most will look at him as a lazy player who failed to make the extra effort needed to succeed at this level. A WR on a team that lacked any depth and yet he still managed to sink to the bottom of the barrel.

At best I think a 5th round pick and the Pats have to throw in 96 Lobster Rolls and some Granite State Potato Chips to get rid of him.

I read yesterday that he also got an 8 million signing bonus.
For a #1 pick in the top 20 at the QB position even that seems like a bargain for the Pats. But again if he pans out when contract 2 rolls around I suspect it will be a big contract. It would have to be, to keep him.

His pay this year is 1,413,000 all guaranteed. Next year salary is 1.9 not guaranteed. Cap savings if we cut him is just over $2 million.

Somebody can try him out this year for 1.4 million and cut him at end of year (or trade him)

The contract is 4 years with an option 5th year. $15.8M. He also received a Bonus payment of $8.7M.

Total for 4 years is $26.2M. Damn cheap at $6.75M per for a starting QB.
