In regards to Lindsay. bring em in. Somethings up though, he was doing very well in denver and they cut bait, not even as a backup. He had no real free agency interest, again for a guy that was doing well. Not sure what the story is, or if he got hurt and just never came back the same.
As for Lindsey something has to be up? He got the RFA tender from the Broncos, then they recinded it and the only deal he got in the offseason was from the Texans for essentially nothing. Then used sparingly, had no takers in a deadline deal and then cut him loose.

Even with all that went on I still think he is worth the gamble over giving a team with a better record in the AFC an opportunity.

I'm with SP with the red flags. I know the Texans had a horse stable of decent talent (David Johnson, Phillip Lindsay, Mark Ingram, Rex Burkhead, Royce Freeman), but they already dealt away Ingram so cutting Lindsay a few weeks after that is somewhat odd. DJ & Burkhead look to be their best options now, and its a whole lot LESS dynamic without Lindsay.

If there aren't any red flags then Lindsay would be a fantastic get. I think he would push any one of these guys off the roster: Snell, McFarland, or Ballage. I'd hope they kick Snell to the curb, but we know thats doubtful. He's the Mason Rudolph of backup RBs, both in that he isn't a very capable backup and the coaches oddly love him.

Those red flags have to be fairly huge. I really don't get what has caused him to fall off like that so quickly.

Looking back at old injury reports it seems it was knee and hip.

The question is what and how serious, nothing seems to give that much detail.

^ that void in the middle is a link to a bleacher report page that mentioned he had hip and knee injuries.

Figured he wouldn’t make it that far.

More red flags for Lindsay… If Miami is the only team that wants you then something is definitely up

They keep playing like they are, they won't even have to trade up to get him.

John Ridgeway, NT Arkansas in the 2nd. Fix your core, everything radiates out from there.

Offseason coaching changes?
dDGQ379.gif

What offseason coaching changes?

Replacing Randy Fichtner with the teams QB coach. And replacing the OL coach with the Assistant OL Coach aren't 'Coaching Changes'.

Coaching Changes happen from outside the organization.

I don't think the best of Coaching Changes would help all that much with the talent on the roster right now, anyway. There are just huge holes and liabilities on both lines.

The talent on the roster depends on who between Tomlin and Colbert are most responsible for the bad picks.

Also, I'm not ready to blame all that much on Canada himself. He's playing with Ben who can't/won't play his offense. And an OL that can't play any offense.

I'd like to see what he can do with chess pieces, rather than checkers.

I agree on the other side their total lack of ability to adjust to a situation is like watching Chase Claypool flop on ever contested ball thrown his way.

Not like he didn't have time to prepare as he was a coach on the team prior to this year.

He certainly doesn't deserve a Mapletron nickname, when he isn't playing like it. Bitchatron, is more like it.

IF they weren't spinning out of control WITH him already, I might care.

At this point, all he can do is help Tomlin maintain his patented non-losing record.

Which, he found a way to achieve even in a year with an odd number of games.
