Always wanna see a hometown guy stay.
People want to knock him for age & being a product of a system, but there's no denying he has arm talent & good poise. He's worth a shot in the 1st Rd. I'm not big on Corral. Willis maybe. But I'm leaning more on wanting a vet in FA and rebuilding the trenches this offseason if Kenny is out of reach.Always wanna see a hometown guy stay.
Honestly no to Wilis. Hes so raw. Unless you think hes Josh allen. Which you hit on that 1-100 times. Corrall i do like . He was hurt most of this year. Hes shown really nice development, so did kenny. Im fine with either.People want to knock him for age & being a product of a system, but there's no denying he has arm talent & good poise. Burrow just turned 24 in his 2nd season... Pickett will be 24 before his first snap in the NFLHonestly no to Wilis. Hes so raw. Unless you think hes Josh allen. Which you hit on that 1-100 times. Age? Joe burrow…
Hes a year older yes but just saying that that was ok when burrow succeeded as an older guy. It doesnt happen often though.Burrow just turned 24 in his 2nd season... Pickett will be 24 before his first snap in the NFL
More backup in case they are needed in a pinch.
^ Should add Drue Chrisman I thought was higher rated than Harvin. Sadly they wouldn't make a change since they used a draft pick on Harvin but consistency would be good vs the crap shoot they have now.
I think I saw that he was 18th in the league in punts inside the 20... So his average could be a reflection of field position. But we've seen enough shanks to know that his average is definitely not good. Everything was good until the game against the Bears. Since then Harvin has been erratic. He has raw ability, but needs to learn how to harness it….the punt against the Ravens was huge the other day, but he hasn’t been impressive so far, he needs to learn finesse, hang time and not kicking line drive punts….time will tell, but these skills should have already been established…..
Oh no one is saying replace Harvin, really silly at this point. The only reason he isn't out there is due to injury, just a shame he hasn't been good after using a pick on him. And it was a sadly he had an opportunity to show his leg off in a dome and didn't.Harvin's college tape is better than this. He has not been good this season, but I'm not ready to give up on him yet.
It's not like replacing Harvin is improving playoff chances or anything.
