Agreed. Said it a little while ago, but I'd just hang him up on IR to give him the rest of the year to figure out his shit and come back ready for camp next year and enter his final year of rookie contract. Coming back early from this injury obviously did him no favors so why force the issue and only make things worse for him? His 5th year option will be tricky, but I have a feeling they pick it up.

Yea but none of Edmunds, Burns or Jones showed the promise that Bush did out the gate. Leads me to believe they will give him the benefit of the doubt.

I just don't see how they could. Poor timing on the injury. But they have good options. They are lined up quite nicely with cap space to make a run at him should he ball out next year, or they can default to the franchise tag approach.
