You get kidnapped. Kids are abducted and sold into slavery. A lot of the time they lie to young teens and offer to to put them in movies or make them models. Then they get the kids addicted to drugs and will only give them more drugs if they have sex with people for money. It's seriously one of the worst social justice issues our world is facing today.

I know this is a sports forum but any awareness is good for the End it Movement. END IT : Shine a Light on Slavery

I understand that. I was referring to the bastards who partake of this awful thing.

Changing the subject: Buster Olney quotes an unnamed GM with this, "when Scott Boras takes a player off the table in early Dec (referring to Ellsbury) then you know it's a really bad deal for the team."

That makes a lot of sense.

I don't think there is any other way to see the world than to see that people are in a fallen state. Very few people are just flat out sociopaths, but others traverse that slippery slope and descend into pure wickedness.

Hopefully the rangers are in close communication with him. He really would be an ideal stop gap. Since the Royals were the only team willing to go to three years, the rangers might snag him with two with a third year iron.

well, supposedly Beltran has not been here, and there isn't much that's said we are interested.

BUT, little that may mean, if it means anything.
He is a great stop gap. JD has to be considering this

Whatever move jd pulls will come out of left field, just like the fielder trade. We won't hear anything about it till it's basically a done deal

Kind of falls in line with the "at least I'm not as bad as..." Line of justification.

Okay, I am in on Tanaka guys. Put in the max bid and see what happens. That would free up Texas to make another trad for a potential bat. Toronto....

I think TAG and Busby would be fine if teamed with someone who had some excitement. But together they are somewhere between bland and boring. Like and respect both of them, just not together.

I miss Lewin.

I am with you on that one. Might as well roll the dice.

We'll continue to lead the league in 'borderline' calls.

I'll continue to hold out hope that we bring back Lewin, and eventually get rid of Jim Knox.

I have come to appreciate the derpiness of Jim Knox.

We'd be stupid not to.
