We did lose a lot of production to graduation, but our DL depth was hurt in the off season by kicking a guy off the team and another decided not to come back for his last year after graduating (he wanted to become a cop ASAP).

Then the injuries happened (LB and OL most prominently). The senior leadership isn't what it has been in the past, and the OC has called mostly horrible games. ST has been a problem for a while, but it's a complete shit show this year.

Next week vs. UM will be ugly, Harbaugh will look to run up the score. The only good thing about this season is that a lot of freshman are getting reps now (we played 9 yesterday).

Yep.

Dantonio had never lost an OLineman to the NFL draft. MSU had three taken in the '16 draft.

Their secondary has completely turned over the last two seasons. Starting QB had next to no expierience coming into the season. (5th year kid). Something like their Top 7 receivers from two years ago are in the NFL. (One is a corner now, but whatever.)

But I still figured they'd beat teams like Northwestern and Maryland, coming into the season. Lil' Brother has slipped to Baby Brother.
