That's clear!I legit don't know what you're arguing
Again, how can Iowa be 10-2 when they only played 10 P5 teams?Iowa is 10-2 the last 6 years vs other P5 that's a fact
Again, no one cares what they were ranked at game time. Only one of the ten ended up in the final AP poll.3 of those games were vs season ending top 25 teams and 2 others were vs teams who were ranked at the time
If you want to change the ranking system, how about the Massey Composite? It is a composite of ~75 -100 ranking systems and thus might be considered a "general consensus".
Not much to say here. Iowa did pretty much what they should have done. They lost to an ISU squad that had a losing record but beat an MSU team which ended up above them, so it pretty much washes out.
I'm not sure what your definition of "elite" is but Iowa beat #5 Ohio State in 2017.As i said if you're assertion is Iowa can't beat the elite P5 programs that correct. No one does
Hell since 1990, UF have given 10 teams their only loss of the season and did so by an average of more than 20 pts/gm!
It happens with surprising regularity which is why one must look at a teams entire resume and NOT just cherry pick games.
Finally...
Yes, I think those PAC teams are in for a rude awakening when they get to the B1G!But this was in response to the P12 yeams coming in and none of those programs are elite the last decade plus. Closest is Oregon who is ostensibly a slightly better version of Wisconsin results wise
