Well it won’t be with paying $170 million in luxury tax I don’t think lol.

Here are the taxpayers for this year. Phoenix and Minny actually have the most. The Celtics real problems would start next year.

Obviously OKC is not a franchise that will pay a lot of luxury tax. They have the assets to potentially keep winning without doing that but you might be sad to see some core players have to go elsewhere

Sure, but if you're going to separate bought from built, that means free agents.

But then they bought their coach. They didn't bring him up like the Heat with Spoelstra. Sure they had him previously, but he had to go away to learn how to win a championship and then they bought him back.
The distinction is just inane small market pride stuff.

LeBron was the best player in the league. Wade was arguably the 2nd best and Bosh was an all NBA caliber player too.

Based on talent I think it is fair to say they should have won at least 1 more title. Most thought they would win every year.

I may be jumping to conclusions we will see. People think Clay Bennett is the only owner but ownership includes a couple guys that are very wealthy. As a group they are among the most wealthy in the league. George Kaiser and the guy that owns the Dallas Wings are in the group. I think it would be on the end of a run though if they do it, they are set up pretty good for a few years.

They were favored to beat the Mavs but Lebron and D-Wade were too busy trying to "take turns" which led to Lebron deferring too much late in games and cost them the series. If they have that figured out, I don't think the Mavs beat them.

You could make a similar case in the final season vs. the Spurs...but the Spurs were on a mission and I'm not sure anyone was beating them.
