I recall Belichick being below .500 when this lousy QB too over. over 100 QBR and 4tds in SB is so shitty, he would be back up on my son's HS football team

Your son's high school team's QB is more capable of completing a 5+ yard pass than Tom Brady. Seattle gave him the slot, BB knew it was his only hope and devised a genius gameplan that turned his biggest weakness (atrocious play from the QB position) into his biggest strength. The two huge question marks are the goal line play call and why Seattle refused to adjust to what NE was doing.

Romo can consistently put up the same kind of numbers Ben did last year running game or no running game. If you're going to use the running game as a crutch why isn't Ben docked when Bell is easily a top 3 RB in the league? Bell is a bruising runner but he's also very good in the passing game too (he had 854 yards receiving last season).
Yes Romo will put good numbers, but I feel the Steelers have a better receiving corp, so I give Ben the nod.

Good thing with Brady and his 5 yard passes is that he throws to the right team, more often than not, Guy you love, thats his prob. SB vs Seattle, AFCG vs Balt, SB vs NO and so on and on and on. Brady gives them a chance with those 5 yard passes, your guy costs the team the game with his 4 yard ints

we kinda know what Rodgers, Brady and Manning bring to the table. Think Romo and Ben have the potential to have another great season and be brought up and maybe surpass these guys

I don't really see Rodgers being dethroned anytime soon barring any injuries. Brady and Manning will eventually retire (I think Manning probably will first because it looks like his body is breaking down sooner). Romo and Ben aren't spring chickens either. Those 2 along with Eli and Rivers (2004 class) are near the end of their careers too. I think Ben will probably be the first to retire from the 2004 class because he is willing to electively take hits to keep the play going. It's hard to imagine his body can handle all of the wear and tear a season brings like Brady and Peyton who actively try not to get hit. I do think there is a small window for Ben to make that jump once Brady and Peyton are out of the league but I'm guessing that will be short lived.

I guess I worded it wrong. I agree that Rodgers is the best now and will be for next 5-7 years. I could see Romo or Ben having next best seasons. I could see Brady having 3 more good years because his arm is 3 seasons fresher than Peytons and I havent really seen a drop in his velocity, still rifles it

My main point is that it's funny to me how quickly Romo gets written off. He's played at a higher level longer than a lot of guys who seem to jump him on rankings of both posters here and journalists on various websites. I don't know if it's a bias against the Cowboys or what but it's strange.

I think playoff success has a lot to do with it. If Murray doesn't fumble the ball, or Bryant's catch is ruled good, who knows. Same with your QB Ryan, or Dalton

Dalton is a middle of the road starter. Even Tannehill is better than Dalton.

"Even" Tannehill? That dude is legit. Put him in NE and dude is an instant superstar.

Sometimes you just gotta cheat to win, Sonny!!!

I wouldn't know about that here in NE Hammer, but sad to say I'm not pure, so won't cast stones. Glad you have a conscious

Point is that if a team goes to playoffs 4-5 years in a row and can't advance after first playoff game, QB takes a big hit

I don't agree with that perspective. There is a lot more that goes on in a game that a QB can influence. Unless you can make a good argument for them being the entire reason for the team losing during each appearance then it's a lazy opinion.

He has done well and he is getting better. I don't know if I'd toss him into the group of superstars yet but I agree he has a lot of potential. He's the best Big 12 QB I've seen come into the league in a very long time.

We both know that 99% of what Pats fans claim centers on their delusional perspective of Tom Brady. They protect him at all costs.
