it is sounding like Chicago may have to package Fields & Moore in a trade.
Why would they trade Moore? They can get a 2nd and 3rd for Fields. They need Moore for Williams

do you ever keep score with all your predictions?

3 outta 10 is considered pretty good in some areas.

lol
It would get you a $40+ million a year contract in baseball. :D

ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reports “after asking around,” the Falcons, Steelers, Raiders, and Vikings could all be “on the radar” as potential trade suitors for Justin Fields.
The Falcons have been a popular choice amongst those speculating where Fields could land, but Dan Graziano reported the team is eyeing Kirk Cousins as their “top QB solution” should the veteran come available. Fields is widely believed to be available for a second or third-round pick, which sounds like a more than affordable price for a former first-rounder who can remain under team control through 2025 — assuming his fifth-year option is exercised. Whether or not Fields lands in Minnesota will be directly correlated with where Cousins goes in free agency, while the Steelers and Raiders could simply look to acquire him as an upgrade over the quarterbacks they already have in place. While there’s no deadline for the Bears to get a deal done to move Fields, it would make sense for all involved to trade him before the start of free agency.

I think a 3rd would be best case, and late 3rd in all probability would be best case. I wouldn't be surprised to see 4th at all, a 5th round pick and I'm guessing half the league would probably give them a call.

I'm guessing a late 3rd or 4th round pick is what they'll get when the smoke clears, if they trade him. At that kind of return, I'd keep him around. Let the new guy know that nothing is going to be given to him and if he's not ready I have a fall back until he is. (waits for scathing responses)

Not if you're a pitcher, lol.
You'd be surprised at what these pitchers make. Striking out 3 out of every 10 batters would get you an average of nearly 1k per inning. Obviously there is a lot more to it than that, but that k/inning ratio would have put you in the top 25 of pitchers in 2023.

Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer reports the Bears are expected to meet with Caleb Williams after his Pro Day.
While we don’t know the exact date for this visit, USC’s Pro Day is scheduled for March 20th. This could prove meaningful for Justin Fields, as the team has yet to decide whether or not they will trade him and start over at QB by selecting Williams with the No. 1 pick next month or roll with Fields as their starter next season. All signs point to the Bears drafting Williams with the top pick, which means they would inevitably trade Fields to a QB-needy team. With the new league season and free agency set to kickoff March 13th, it’s possible the Bears trade Fields before meeting with Williams to ensure his trade market is at its peak.

We are talking about the same GM that drafted Justin Fields, right?

If you think he sucks, and then want the same guy to make another pick overall #1 for QB, then you are taking some stupid pills.

Trade down, accumulate some draft picks and build a shit awful roster.

No, Poles joined the Bears in January 2022, Fields was drafted in 2021.

They lose all leverage taking a qb #1. The best they can get out of fields is a 3rd. Imo
Think I’m ready to change this to a 4th on the way to a 5th
