I pay close to $200 a year. I can't recall if that's just the international fee or did it also include real time? I've had it for three years with an automtatic renewalable subscription so I don't remember what the different packages they offered.

I love it.

That's cool and I'm glad you're happy but I want to watch the games live and that's what I'm referring to with stipulations and hoops to jump through.

I would happily pay more than $99 to watch the games I want to watch live. If they said I could watch every Pats game live for $500 a season I'd probably do it simply because it means a lot to me and I really want to watch.

Instead I'll watch for free on bilasport because fuck the NFL and their old ways of doing business.
Right now you can get DirecTV for $84.99 a month for 250 channels and it includes Sunday Ticket for free.

You also get Starz and three months of Cinemax, Showtime Starz and Epic for free.

Only reason I can tell you this is that I'm looking at the offer I got in the mail yesterday and am considering jumping from Xfinity, but keeping the internet even though it will cost more than the cable. Maybe I can get it cheaper if I threaten to leave. I hate paying more for cable/internet than my electric bill when I run the a/c for 15 days.

Okay so the Pats app is for your phone only. Yeah it's free but no way I am watching a game on my phone. May try the free game pass trial

I can understand why you are confused. If you google "NFL Game Pass Roku", the first two links: first an alert by the NFL about not carrying it on Roku; second, a page from Roku to install the NFL channel with a feature to "replay every regular season game with an NFL Game Pass subscription".

I didn't pay that much in Japan. Maybe it was the military discount?

Advantage is all of those devices display on the TV.
This...and my computer is not next to my television...and my computer screen is not big enough for the wife and kids to gather round with wings and chili to watch a game.

Time to upgrade to a bigger screen. I have a 29" computer screen. Then again, I'm blind as a bat so having a monster in front of me is necessary. A friend of mine has a 55" smart TV as his computer screen. I have one on my office wall, so having one on my computer might be a bit of an overkill. Maybe a 42"?

Not trying to talk you into something that you don't want but for others.....

I have a 25 ft. HDMI cable and they make longer ones these days.
Note: if you have a laptop and wifi, you can set up anywhere?

Back in the good old days they, they being audio visual technical guys, always said don't run HDMI over 6 feet because the signal loss would drop it down to RCA cable quality.

I'm sure materials and robotic assembly etc. has improved the quality, but I am still skeptical at 25'.

But...I will investigate as these are for the Firestick.

And

And

My good quality 25' HDMI has better signal than my old 6' cables, so yeah. I absolutely needed 15' in Okinawa and I bought a 25' in 2018. Great signal. I also had fiber to my living room.

Both of those are just apps. The Sunday Ticket one requires DirectTV with the Sunday Ticket Package, and the other requires an NFL Game Pass subscription.
I will probably do the NFL Game Pass Subscription.

Do it.

I watched the game on my phone as I was traveling. Then watched it on my laptop when I got to my destination.

No lag issues either device.

If I were home I would've watched it on my tv.

Best package I can find for being overseas and wanting to see all Pats games plus any other games.

Now if they can just figure out these time zones for me. Regular season games start around midnight finish around 0700. lol

How well does it look after you trip over the cord?
