Watson to Carolina is something I can't get a handle on, and I'm usually able to form an opinion on most everything. I'm a card carrying Franchise QB member, I mean this year's Final Four showed once again how important is it to have a top QB for lasting success. If you have a chance to get a guy like that you are set and can build around him.

But I'm still not sure Watson is at that top tier level of Rodgers and Mahomes. Trading C Mac and 3 firsts does in fact make Carolina look like an NFC version of the Texans.

Watson has to approve the trade right? If so, I can't see him approving the trade and if Christian McCaffrey is not there.

I totally agree and being here in NY, I’ve basically said the same about the potential of Watson landing with the Jets. The Jets are facing their most important offseason in their history because of the 2nd most cap space in the league, and draft capital the next 2 years that’s mind boggling. If they were to surrender much of that to acquire Watson, are they much better off than what the Texans now are?

I don’t see how Mccafrey should be a target of Houston, they need an entire roster, IMO if they pull the trigger on a Watson deal, it’s gotta be for a biblical amount of draft picks

C-Mac will be completely done by time that team is truly ready to compete, so outside of selling tickets (possible motive), don’t see why they would want that

But the problem with the Jets is at the end of the day, they are still the Jets.

Yes, just because Watson is that valuable and would still have enough to add some help offensively to make a functional team in the near-term. Contender long-term.

I laugh at fans saying the Texans are holding him hostage, why sign an extension after they trsde Hopkins?
