11 carries for Hunt in a game they led most of the game is crazy.
What does it say about the coach however when the team constantly gets to the play-offs but constantly LOSES in them?
The Rams not running the ball when they are averaging 7 yards a pop is just incredibly puzzling to me. Maybe I need to rewatch, but I don't get that one. Hunt was getting 3.8 YPC by comparison for 41 yards; long of 16. I'll be the first one to say the running game doesn't matter that much anymore, but when you're getting efficiency comparable to the passing game, you can't pass that up.Just like the Rams game... Gurley was averaging 7.8 yards per carry but he had Goff sling it 45x's...
Only Alex gets exiled to the pit of misery
Yeah, as I said, I may need to rewatch it, but iirc they got back within 1 score with a reasonable amount of time left, no?Gurley was utilized 24 times out of 61 offensive plays.
39% of the time. He wasn't ignored.

I was too busy this weekend and wasn't able to watch any football. How did Alex Smith do?
Goff YPA: 5.8
Gurley: 7.2
Gameflow matters, but but that's dominance.
