Right now in the heat of emotion, give him some time.

Been in, what is it? 3 of 4. or 3 of 5. of the last superbowls & is reigning World Champs.

Reid is top 10 all time

As for the list

Think ya go

Belichick
Shula
Landry
Halas
Lombardi (despite short career)
Noll
Brown
Parcells
Reid
Madden

I give Curly an asterisk for playing in a meh era. Halas started at same time but 40 years man...
Don't forget Bill Walsh.

Lombardi and Walsh in a league of their own. Lombardi with 5 championships in only ten years, and Walsh with 3 in only ten years, both taking over bad teams, and Walsh developing the West Coast offense that everybody uses today.

Really difficult to compare eras. Reid is the second best of his Era. Probably lands him top 12 for sure but had Reid had Mahomes earlier or had Brady this might be a totally different conversation.

I think Reid and his mentor Holmgrem should actually both be removed from consideration, on account of them being Walruses and not authentic human beings.
Who knew that species of marine mammal could coach football?

Reid has coached 24 seasons, has had 3 losing seasons, 4 Super Bowl appearances, 2 Championships, 17 double digit winning seasons, 18 playoff appearances for 2 franchises

Belichick has coached 28 seasons, has had 7 losing seasons, 9 Super Bowl appearances, 6 championships, 20 double digit win seasons, 19 playoff appearances for 2 franchises

Reid has had much more success for two franchises as opposed to Belichick

Belichick had 1 winning season and 1 playoff win in 5 seasons with the Browns

Reid had 9 winning seasons, 9 playoff appearances, 10 playoff wins, Super Bowl appearance in 14 seasons with the Eagles

I don’t know why he would retire with his franchise quarterback, going into his prime

24 years as a coach and only 3 losing seasons. His 1st year, 7th year and 14th year.

19 winning season / only two .500 season

Has won double digit games 17 times.

Has won 100 games with two teams

He's tied for 2nd all time with 20 playoff wins

That's a top 10 coaching resume to me.

Add one more thing to Reid's coaching resume. Now he's the only HC that's won at least 10 playoff games with two teams.

All time top 10 HC for sure.
