The Bengals are pretty young and you have a fan base that wants to win now. But, we were about last in defense so were they just young or not good? I'd evaluate what I have and see what I could work with and plug in accordingly.
I would say we are young and upcoming, but............do you like who Marvin has and does it fit with your new style.

I don't think we're in the position to win right now. Try to keep a solid core, and get rid of aging value pieces, if you can.

Sucks as a fan, but we're not there. I don't want to see a long, slow bleed.

That's not really anything special. Miami is a mountain of mediocrity just like Cinci.

In the draft, they're likely on the back end of the elite OT talent or the front end of the TE talent. Its not sexy but you draft from one of those 2 pools.

Pick up a LB in free agency.

Draft a bunch of defensive players.

Consider my other job options.

Get all the pieces needed to make a run to the Superbowl, or at least at a minimum, the AFC Championship. The Bengals current roster does have some talent. I think coaching / play calling became stale, and needed a fresh perspective.

Made a few deals for prospects (Falk)

And use that and the draft to build

Keep any young quality players without any character/off field issues, and trade/can virtually everyone else in the entire organization from the top down. Basically, whatever it took to wipe the franchise's hands completely clean of the Marvin Lewis fiasco for a truly fresh start.
