The flawed plan of building a bullpen on the cheap, lives on. JD successfully poisoned CY with the idea. So sad!

I think CY built the way he wanted and it seemed to work out last year.
5 years for a reliever some consider a risk but to each their own. Diaz contract not working so far
Maybe Nerris is better

No he didn't have a shot with us because CY was never going to pay much more than half that much on a reliever.

It is either the Rangers accept offer or they are in default and they try the market and get Pennie’s to the dollar

All I can say is Leclerc and Sborz better pitch all year like they did in the postseason, and Yates needs to do that well all year. If all three of those happen and one of our rookie relievers does well we can make it. That is just a lot to depend on.

I guess we will sign an emergency starter or two and be done with this offseason. Maybe a very cheap bench player as well.

All I can say is Leclerc and Sborz better pitch all year like they did in the postseason, and Yates needs to do that well all year. If all three of those happen and one of our rookie relievers does well we can make it. That is just a lot to depend on.

The problem is, both have only done it once. Don’t know if I completely trust them. The bullpen may have more blown saves this season than last season.

we already signed an emergency starter in Urena. think we're done. don't see any playoffs for this team, starting rotation and pen are probably worse than opening day last year and positional probably a little better
