Yeah, but at this point it looks like we will have to live or die by them. The problem is, both have only done it once. Don’t know if I completely trust them. The bullpen may have more blown saves this season than last season.
I was wondering why the Hispanic Titanic, Ivan Melendez, wasn't on this list, and then I saw that he has played more games at 3B than 1B since being drafted 18 months ago.
I am not sure why that link doesn't work when it is pasted here. When I paste it in the browser it goes right to it.
Justin Foscue talking here about working at 1B and 3B and trying to do all the little things to make it to the big leagues.
This is going to be just like when the Mavericks won the championship and Cuban did nothing in the offseason.Yeah, but at this point it looks like we will have to live or die by them.
He would have been a nice pickup
Another one bites the dust.
Ok now I’m sad…I was hoping for him along with Monty

We could have aired up our bullpen significantly for $11 million per year and chose to sit idly…not happy3 years and $33 million for Stephenson.
That is way too much to spend on a reliever according to the JD plan on building a bullpen on the cheap. Too bad CY bought into that nonsense lock, stock, and barrel.
the question is: were the OWNERS prepared to spend the money? the GM can't sign people if the money isn't there. has nothing to do with JDWe could have aired up our bullpen significantly for $11 million per year and chose to sit idly…not happy

"I believe our organization has the financial resources to compete for any free agent," Young said during the first day of the MLB Winter Meetings at the Gaylord Opryland Resort. "We measure the short-term with the mid-term and the long-term and make sure we’re making prudent, financially responsible decisions and marrying all of that."
We need to open a class action lawsuit against Diamond for emotional destress!i remember CY saying that. what else would you have expected him to say? "We are cash strapped and will not be pursuing free agents this off-season."
it still takes the OWNERS agreeing and freeing the cash for any signings and with the Rangers losing the $111M that they are owed by Diamond their pursue of free agents is severely handicapped.
Lol. There is a big difference between the two statements. There is a while lot of in between where he didn't have to say either one of those.i remember CY saying that. what else would you have expected him to say? "We are cash strapped and will not be pursuing free agents this off-season."

Or against the Luxury Tax Threshold. LolWe need to open a class action lawsuit against Diamond for emotional destress!
Yes heads the same thing but it is the following years that FO appears to want more clarity onFrom previous reports, the Rangers know they will have at least $90 million in TV revenue this year. It isn't $110 million or nothing.
