His mechanics have always been awful and his ability to read a defense beyond his first option is suspect at best. If he is unwilling to work his ass off to correct those two glaring issues he will not only not be the starter on week one, he will not be on the roster.

see thats where you're wrong, hes had those issues his whole career. Hes had those issues and BB has never been able to beat him. Cam doesnt make a living by being the best passer......he needs his foot to be healthy for him to have his game........kinda like a josh allen, dude cant pass, but hes a gamer.......but cams game was insane.........he was so dominant. Lets not pretend stidham is a mid round pick thats just sensational.......he was a 4th rounder for a reason......if for some reason cam is not starting, hoyer is your best option.......

Maybe you have convinced yourself that BB and McDaniels are going to completely change the offense in to a school yard, fire drill clusterfuck to accommodate Newton and I suppose it's possible, but I doubt it.

If he doesn't learn the playbook and get the timing component of NE's offense down quickly I think he'll be riding the pine.

Reports are circulating saying that he's been working out with Sanu and possibly others so we shall see.

Disagree. I'm excited to see Stidham play. Prefer seeing him play in a nomal (non covid) season.
Cam is a cheap and possibly high-upside QB. What is not to like?
Covid could change the way this season goe so dramaticlly.
Imagine if Jackson and Mahomes get infected?

Unless Stidham is TB II,he is not likely to be ready for Prime Time.

I'm no Cam fan but Brian Hoyer he is not.

His big fuck up to me is pure and simple.

He showed no testicular fortitude on that Super Bowl loose ball.

He tries anything remotely close on NE and he is a dead man. A twice proven Tin Man.

If he can play though he could show up in White Face dressed like Colonel Fucking Sanders for all I care.
