My best guess he starts part of the season and then either gets injured or the team struggles so they put Stidham in

If I had to put money on it, I'd bet he never starts a single game. Either he refuses to submit to "the Patriot Way" or he's just not good enough. Between those two, I don't see him making it as a starter even one single game.

Patriots have a pretty touch schedule. Especially in October. If the Patriots go 0-4 in October (including Nov 1st game against the Bills) then I think Stidham gets the start against the Jets.

People are pretty dishonest about Cam's ability. He's not going to get beat out by Jarrett Stidham. I think he starts and does well enough. They'll be an above average team, IMO.

BB's history with that team includes plenty of guys who had issues elsewhere. If Randy Moss (among others) can buy in. I don't see why Cam won't.

There's a misconception that BB doesn't "put up" with player antics. In fact, it's quite the opposite. All he cares about is that you show up and do your damn job.

If he isn't the starter every game he's healthy, his career will be over.

And it's not like he isn't aware of Cam's polarizing theatrics. As if that's something you could only learn about Cam by coaching him. lol. Cam isn't my favorite athlete ever... but I've never once heard anybody from Carolina do anything besides glow about him as a teammate.

Bill Belichick took on Randy Moss after he blew up a bridge with two different NFL franchise's.

Bill Belichick claimed Michael Floyd off of waivers literally as he sat incarcerated for his 2nd DUI with the Arizona Cardinals. This was such an ongoing situation that after the SB - Floyd had to go and serve a 24 day jail sentence in Arizona.

Bill Belichick took on Antonio Brown after he had started up the biggest public meltdown by a professional athlete in ages. Even after r*pe accusation emerged - AB still suited up for the Pats that Sunday. I honestly don't even know if BB was aware of the full situation until Kraft sort of forced the release. I think he just has total tunnel vision on football. I would be willing to bet AB would have played the entire season in NE - if it could have just been accepted by the general public. The r*pe accusation and his subsequent handling of it made that impossible.

These are only the examples I can recall off the top of my head too.

This notion that BB is going to give a shit about guy doing touchdown dances or pouting a little bit after INT's? I mean, it just seems to totally contradict his history. Bill might have an old school work ethic and demand that much from his players. However, he does not demand some sort of military like environment. He does not strip you of your individuality.

Either way, this is their first LGBT quarterback. There is a lot to celebrate for New England.

I think NE will go...

2-4 in division (sweep by Bills)
3-1 vs AFC West (lose to KC)
2-2 vs NFC West (lose to SF/Seattle)
1-1 vs 1st place(beat Houston)

That's an 8-8 record, which may actually be good enough for a wild card. I think Pit/Bal, Ind/Ten occupy the first two and then it's between them, Denver, and Cleveland.

Yeah I am curious to see if he is actually healed and can throw.
