I knew that comment of mine would stir the pot...lol

Like I said maybe it was just a bad night for the kid, either way there is a lot riding on this season for him and it will be interesting to see how he plays against "tougher defenses"

Yes that last sentence was a shot at ACC football

I'm not the biggest CFB fan, but I watch enough to hold a conversation.

Lawrence...I'm willing to give him a bad day at the office vs LSU, but yes he needs to redeem himself this year (hopefully) vs the best competition on the schedule.

ACC...I tend to agree there, but Clemson has taken it to Bama, and played in this CFB playoff final 3 times iirc...so they are rising above the caliber of the conference when it matters.

No Dabo has built a monster in Clemson they will be in the upper bracket for a while.

...this is a real possibility too.

The Cam trade sure keeps people guessing on what the offence will be like this year. :noidea:
It's very rare to see an offense decline as much as the Pats from last year to present, despite the massive upgrade at QB. So many weapons gone and a line that was stalwart for the last 20 yrs is suddenly porous. If/when the Pats maintain their position or improve over last year, it'll be proof of what I've said all along: with BB's system, any QB can excel there.

Yes sir...SC is almost an after thought now when it comes to the top talent in state. And Sweeney can go get them out of state as well.

I think NE will go...

2-4 in division (sweep by Bills)
3-1 vs AFC West (lose to KC)
2-2 vs NFC West (lose to SF/Seattle)
1-1 vs 1st place(beat Houston)

That's an 8-8 record, which may actually be good enough for a wild card. I think Pit/Bal, Ind/Ten occupy the first two and then it's between them, Denver, and Cleveland.

They playing the RAIDERS?

Bitch, those mother fuckers better look out...

cos they'll prolly get tired from scoring so much... :(

This year should settle the debate going forward. We shall see if your theory is right by January.

I'm inclined to think there's going to be no doubt left whatsoever for reasonable fans.

That, by definition, precludes 99% of Pats fans and 100% of Tom Brady fans.

What's muddying the waters a little is that the Patriots have lost significant weapons and Tampa Bay has gained significant weapons.
