He can still play for another year or two at a pretty high level. I don't think he'll command a high salary but a good sized one.

A team like Indy could use him.

Indy would be a perfect fit for Wilfork.

Yeah he tweeted good bye so I don't see him coming back, which sucks but this isn't shocking either... Still sucks majorly though. Indy will get him.

Retirement. I read his note, and it sounds like he is suggesting he may be done, but that he can play and will play if the money is right.

How about a one year minimum deal in Dallas.

If he stays in AFC, he's going to Denver or Miami. Denver because they have cap space, perfectly fits their system and they are known for taking Patriots Players (Welker, Talib). Miami because they have a lot of cap space, are looking for a DT, and putting him next to Wake is dangerous. Also, they actually could get Wilfork AND Suh and use them together. Very scary. Even if Wilfork has declined.

Bears come to mind. They are switching to a 3-4 and have bupkis on the DL for it. Would free up their draft selection from Shelton to go BPA.

Makes sense, but considering his age...are the Bears close enough to being a contender?...I agree with the IND pick.

If it's just about the money for him...TN might be in play...that staff needs a quick turnaround to survive the season I'm hearing.

I saw no hint of retirement. My opinion is that he will go to the Broncos because of their need of a DT as well as his ability to fit their new defensive scheme. However, I could see him going to the Cardinals who also took Kelly last season. Wilfork could be a great addition for the cardinals in a division where the run game is the #1 priority. But who knows. He could still come back to New England.

No one ever accused Robert Kraft of being fair or loyal, did they? :lame: Ask the man to re-do his deal, then cut his ass. Nice.

Indy will definitely be interesting to watch in FA. I can't see them going too crazy just because Luck will be the highest paid player ever soon.

Crazy how New England won't pay anyone. Even the guy who's been there forever. A star. Most teams like players like that to retire with the team. Not NE, nope they force ppl out and screw them over. They've been doing it for years.

Nothing personal, it’s all business with the Dark Lord.

Sad but expected, there is no crying in football.

Oh, and Kraft is among the best owners IMHO.

Yep...they know the deal deal is looming, but with much it being guaranteed, it will likely offer some cap flexibility for this season.

I think to time to strike is now for IND...while HOU is still trying to find their way and TN & JAX are still a couple of years away from being playoff caliber teams.
