We rarely had a great defense. He did disappear sometimes but he also got hung out to dry multiple times too.

He sure had some damn fine seasons...what hurts is the 'what could have been'.. instead of a top ten, he could've been top five or better if a few of those short TD passes to Adams were his runs. Sounds a little petty, but he was good enough that he he deserved a little more of the glory there..imho

That Quay Walker interception is the type of thing that can't really happen with a non-rookie QB. Locked on to the same guy for many seconds in the middle of the field trying to throw through two different defenders.

Thats just it, though. He is certainly a good enough runner to keep an offense in the average territory while he is young. So he is going to set your team back many years if you stick with him and he never improves.
