A fellow student in the stands is who reported the incident IIRC.

It happened during the Tennessee game, Fields got significant playing time in that game and it would have been impossible for him to hear it.

It's not his fault, and I don't blame him for using anything he can to be able to play next season. It's a flimsy argument, but if it works, good for him.

I follow Georgia baseball too, so I'm more familiar with Adam Sasser than most, and he was the second best player on the team, and he was kicked off the team immediately and expelled from the university shortly afterwards.

Well yeah but he's now a 20 year old ( soon to be 21) three years removed from high school. JT Daniels can still become a better QB than Tate will ever be. Tates still a short QB who runs around a lot which is why I didn't like him in the first place.

Not really mad or worried about that. I have a feeling he's gonna be more of a headache than a help for them.

Yeah gonna be fun to watch. I don't care what people say. When a player like fields goes transfers to another team he's been told by someone near the top or the top that he's gonna get the job.

I don't see why they should. But the reality is they have to give him and his parents some sort of nod to get him to go there because he didn't go there to sit again. So I think he's gotta look really bad in the pre season to not get the job.

Pretty much. Plus Haskins and Fields have been in touch the entire season.....so I highly doubt Fields would transfer to Ohio State if Haskins didn't give him a pretty solid indication that he was entering the draft.
