Did I hear Mariuchi right last night saying the Patriots have to decide about Mac Jones because his fifth year option is going to be around 30 million? Is that a draft position thing or just top QB pay?

It's just what it is...We had the same "dilemna" with Mitch and would with Fields in the near future as well. No way NE pays it.

its the same year, which is why I was asking. Two pro bowls for QB is 30, 1 pro bowl 29.5, no pro bowls meeting playtime criteria 23 million, no criteria met 20 million.

I am guessing there will be a standard bump for these salaries in 2024

Pretty much looks like that entire QB draft was a bust. Do you know that right now Fields still has more TD passes than Lawrence on the season? 11 for Fields, 9 for Trevor and Trevor has played 3 more games.
