Sometimes I don't think you know as much basketball as you lead on. Your Paul George idea is especially asinine. The Knicks are more likely to hold out for Luka. The only way the Clippers get Ivring is through MLE.

You may not want it, but it looks as though Luka and Kyrie will be stuck together for at least another year, barring something unforseen (maybe a sign-and-trade for Terrence Mann and Norm Powell???).

You think Mann/Powell is enough to get Kyrie via trade? Can't see that happening...

This thread has certainly devolved, lol.

A Playoff P for Kyrie trade would fix a lot of issues for both the Clips and the Mavs if Kyrie was focused and reliable. He's not, so more would have to be involved, but if the Clips were looking to blow it up otherwise, a deal could be found.

Being a Knicks fan I sure would hate to see him come to ny. But then again. They are the Knicks and they have done stupid moves in the past so another one to ruin the franchise wouldn’t surprise me

->You know who was irrelevant for virtually their entire existence prior to 2014?<-

Golden State.

Did you know they had a choking scandal at one time? Of course, it isn't within your nature to root for a team that finished 17-65 like they did that particular season.

But I'm sure you're likely to pump your chest about stumbling into a playoff series win with two of our troublemaking malcontents, Stephen Jackson and Al Harrington.

Are you really this dumb or you just like saying stupid shit to get a response?

You think the Warriors franchise has been irrelevant their entire existence. Proof you know nothing about the franchise or the NBA for that matter.

The Warriors go all the back to the beginning of the league, the 1946-47 season.

They won the first ever NBA championship. Then they won it all again in '56. And won it all in '75. That's seven rings. Only franchises with more titles are the Celtics & Lakers.

Yeah I was just about to say that.

More than anything else, I was referring to most of our lifetimes. Doubt many on here were around in 1975.

Irrelevant. Most of us weren’t around when the Celtics won eight in a row either, yet as much as I’d like to we can’t ignore them too.

lol

Just because you weren't around to witness it, doesn't mean it didn't happen.

He's such a goofball. What he said about the Warriors is proof he really should stop commenting in the NBA threads since he has no clue what he's talking about.

Might regret replying to this, but...

No, the Celtics' 60's titles shouldn't be that relevant in the grand scheme of things for this generation. The only reason it is relevant is due to the overwhelming need of Lakers' fans to validate themselves with the "most titles".

Is anyone here a Warriors fan because of Rick Barry, Nate Thurmond, Joe Fulks, or Paul Arizin?

Fuck no.

They're fans because of Steph, Klay, KD, and Draymond.

What's your point? Are you a Nuggets fan because of Dan Issel?

Love Dan Issel, but wasn’t around when he played. Point is let’s not pretend anyone have two shits about Golden State’s long-term history before 2014 came about.

Salaries wouldn't match....

Irving isn't signing for what those 2 combine to make.
