I feel as if Green Bay Packers organization has really wasted the talents of Aaron Rodgers. I'm uncertain if McCarthy is the best option going forward for Green Bay. Will be interesting to see what transpires the rest of the way for the Packers, but it isn't looking good at the moment.

Edit: The Bears on the other hand have exceeded my expectations for the year, already. So anything further is pure gravy. New Coach, new skilled players at WR and TE, new system, relatively new QB... However, that Mack trade was Uuge!

McCarthy's days are numbered at Green Bay.

yep, McCarthy is probably gone ... no telling if they will hire the right coach, though

Man, it should be a rule, that any team that goes back-to-back Hall of Fame QBs, should have to endure 20 years of ineptitude subsequently.

Who ever is the new coach they will run what Rodgers says. He is not learning a new system at this stage. Not much will change until AR is done. IMO.

My guess is if the Pack fails to make the playoffs or at best squeak in, but are immediately eliminated, then McCarthy is toast. They will need to make a deep run in order for him to coach them another year.

I think Rodgers is done with him.

If that is the case, he is gone.

Packer are one of the youngest teams so If they get the staff right there may be time for one more AR SB run. But we'll be there to crush it. Yes.

The Bears may well be the best defense in the NFL, but this game should be long over with a better performance from the offense.

Agreed with this.

I love the win... but man. It's really tough watching us fail to put away games. We need a bit more of a killer instinct.

I'm hoping it comes with time in the system for the players and Nagy too. He is a rookie coach. We can't expect everything to be great this soon.

Give credit to Minnesota, they are no slouch, particularly on D.

Putting a team like that away, is no easy task. Ask last year's New Orleans team.

If you look at all the teams that we "haven't been able to put away", it's always the teams with the good/great QBs (Brady, Rogers, Wilson, Cousins). So this is hardly unusual.
