giving up 15 yds the previous play was the nutbuster.

According to our stellar head coach that play was meaningless

I’m jealous of all these fans that actually like their team’s head coach. That’s the biggest thing I miss about Lovie. He wasn’t great, but I never was experiencing pure disgust like I am now. Quite the contrary.

Wannstedt/Jauron/Trestman/Nagy/Eberflus…All bums that would grind my gears on the regular.

I guess there was Fox too, but everyone knew he was just there as a stopgap while we reset. More indifferent about him than like/dislike.

But yeah, I want to actually like my coach again. Please let Poles just figure it out make the right move this offseason. That’s all I ask at this point.

Caleb is gonna be great and you'll likely have another coach, hopefully one you love (ahem Ben Johnson maybe)

Despite having an extra week to get ready coming off a bye, the Bears looked unprepared. Chicago started slow, committed several pre-snap penalties, and looked unorganized offensively through the first three quarters of the game. Obviously, we all know what went down in the fourth quarter.

Bad coaching decisions happen, I get it. However, when the players only start to take notice and openly question some of the coaching, that’s when I think we have a tipping point.

Jaylon Johnson on his weekly hit on 670 The Score said he wished the Bears took a timeout in the final sequence and called the situation “rushed.” Kevin Byard said he would liked to cover the play before the Hail Mary differently. Cole Kmet essentially said that practice needs to be taken more seriously and “respected” more.

THREE CAPTAINS openly questioning the coaching is eye-opening.

"I think it’s a lot of different ways you can defend those plays,” Byard said, “Me personally, I think that in that scenario possibly could have had the corners pressed up there because they just ran two out cuts and the play was called just to get a couple more yards to throw it down the field.”

He is totally correct.......

The talkingheads are still shaking their heads and lol at us on the last two sequences of that game.......
Those two plays and the Kramer handoff.......a backup center instead of a top rb,while wearing elbow pads, wearing lineman gloves with both thumbs heavily taped.

That's 4 games in two years, where the Bears had a 90+% chance of winning in the 4th, including like 3 that were like 98% or some shit??

We have yet to step up and defeat a good team on the road. How the hell are you ever going to win the Super Bowl if you can't win a tough game or two on the road?

The trend matters moreso than the individual isolated events, as egregious as they may be.

So are we overreacting to one game, or is the reaction justified? The second half of the season will answer that question officially. Until we're there with 20/20 hindsight to tell us, I have serious doubts and expect a lot of typical Bears fan pain in the coming months. I keep waiting for them to prove me wrong, though. There is no excuse for us to lose this game. This is a very below average football team.

Its only brutal because the other division teams are all better. This is now the best division in football, well I hope it still is if we fall 5 games under .500.

Are we eventually going to see a line of Jones/Kiran/Pryor, Bates, Sheldon, Borom and Wright? or will it be LT, Jenkins, Bates, Borom, Wright and start controlling the line of scrimmage and having the opportunity to have Roshon run between the tackles? Actually having a play action passing game? I know, we end up having to wait for either of those lines to gel, but it might make the games less embarrassing.

We have yet to score first in a game this season 7 games in. We're ALWAYS playing from behind with clown coaching and sh*t blocking.

I am not taking it lightly (I have a bad feeling we lose, actually), but saying they're better than advertised is laughable! They're a 4-4, tied for first place team, that should be 1-7. People are giving this team way TOO MUCH credit.

Did you watch the Niners game? Holy shit! Not the injuries, that's not what I'm talking about. They were dominated. The turnovers the Niners handed them, the timely flags, and the biggest of all - their FG kicker (Moody) getting hurt. They had it to go for it on every 4th down in the red zone.

You can dissect us up all you want. We were fortunate in the Tennessee game and very unfortunate in the Commanders (even the Colts) game. Regardless, just don't sit here and say that about the Cardinals when THE OPPOSITE is true.

I do not take the game lightly because we can probably lose to anyone on the road. However, make no mistake, this would be a DREADFUL loss. The Cardinals are easily a bottom 10 team in the NFL. Out of the players you named, by the way, only McBride could possibly even be considered elite at his position.
