Actually, he's just not traveling with the team. There is still a chance he clears protocol and goes later in the week. I have my doubts, but technically he is not OUT yet.

The Score reported that too,but according to them it was most unlikely that would happen........

Bummer if he doesnt play......

Jax is clearly better than Carolina and TLaw may have just got his shit together with a great gane last Sunday......

Chubba will get some yards against our struggling rush D. Not that it's really hurt our defensive performance, but we definitely have been run on in every game besides Houston.

Dalton had his little magic a couple of weeks back. The team isn't as bad as it looked with Young, but it's not suddenly respectable either. The D has plenty of holes that could provide our offense its first "complete" game.

If this was on the road... maybe I feel differently? I am scaring myself with this post *GULP* but I think we roll at home. Put together our first well rounded performance of the Caleb era on both sides of the ball.

Bears 31
Carolina 16

We start fast and while we don't "blow their doors off" - we really control the entire game.
Not bad :)

Finally found some free time to post. Wish I could have caught the game. Maybe the NFL Network will replay it at some point this week. If not, I'll catch up on a bunch of YouTube highlights when I'm back home. Go Bears!!!!

The game was only NOT fun for about the first 6-7 minutes. lol. Outside of a real outlier of a 3-and-out, followed by a long run by Hubbard to put Carolina up 7-0 early? We just steamrolled. D absolutely clamped down after that and offense was (easily) the smoothest you've seen in a long time.

The game did start with a little bit of a *gulp*, though. By halftime, you barely remembered that, though. It just turned into the Caleb/Swift/Moore/Bears D having a party.

Yeah, I thought we would win this game, for sure. Now, I see more of a closely contested, higher scoring game. I still think we can win, but I'm nervous. I don't think I would be if this wasn't a London game. Those make me nervous, in general. They're all very sloppy and unpredictable. I think we're the better team, but could easily see us getting caught up in a weird game flow and things just don't bounce our way. Not having our biggest defensive play maker will hurt us in a game like that, especially.

Since we're already breaking this thing down... someone make the game-thread, maybe?
