That's not very often.

Nadal will be able to attack his forehand throughout the match, and eventually, Gasquet's backhand side will tire out with having to hit balls above his head thanks to Rafa's topspin.

I'll stick to my pre-tourney prediction of Djokovic over Nadal in 4.

I think Serena in 2. Just because the recent matches were good, doesn't mean I can look past history. Serena usually wins in 2 against Azarenka. I think Azarenka is capable of matching up well, but there's also too much history.

I'd like Azarenka to win, just because she hasn't won the USO before.

Also, last year was the first time we had a womens 3 setter, since 1996.

Agree. This was my pick for both finals. I hope I am wrong about the winners though.

Actually, I want my Vika to win. However considering her present form (strange compared to Cincinnati) there is no way she is going to beat Serena unless she finds a way to raise her form, prolong the rallies and let Serena make unforced errors.

Having said that Serena is going to win this one and I have not been wrong in all my predictions yet. Nadal's present form screams of championship and even though you never count Djokovic out, Nadal will eventually win.

It is going to go back to sundays I believe in 2 years. I don't mind it being in the week but I do mind the time. 5 PM is a terrible time for a finals if you want TV views. It should be a 7 PM start

I agree with that. I wouldn't mind a 8 PM ET start, World Series games start then sometimes.

CBS has stated though that they don't want to interfere with their Monday night news and other programming, hence the 5 PM ET start.
