This is disgusting and too obvious. They're engineering a Maria victory to repeat her triumph of 10 years ago at the expense of Serena. Serena is scheduled to play twice today, both on outside courts forecasted to be interrupted by rain. More than likely she will be playing on and off every day before her anticipated match against Maria. Meanwhile, Maria will definitely play today on centre court and get her days off to rest. It's clear as day.

This is disgraceful. As an American I am ashamed that ESPN showed all the match with the Russian Sharapova while sporadically showing Serena's match. Serena is an american who played and won the gold for the good old USA while Sharapova played for her native Russia. This is outrageous. They are doing the same thing that Wimbledon has done to Serena-shove her off center court to court 1. What a shame.
