Love what I saw from Ukwu. Definitely want him back. We also cut Eguakun. I think we might be looking to bring in an inside OL. Not sure when Mahogony gets back.
Cant believe we let Evans go. He would have been a nice cheap option for a big WR. Not sure Patrick has much left in the tank but we will see.

Once Cominsky is put on IR, they will elevate Peko from the practice squad, which he was signed to today.
Just seems like a strange way to go about it. Lions cut down to 52 instead of 53, so no need to cut Peko even before Cominsky can go on IR. They then claimed Nowaske, which means they have 7 linebackers. Just feels like a lot of unnecessary movement to unbalance the roster.
We went from being a skeleton crew to overkill at LB. I wonder if they are souring on Rodrigo. We kept Loren Strickland on the active roster. That tells me 1 of 2 things (or both?). A LB is about to get cut and Iffy might go on IR for a few weeks.
I think these LB signings are with special teams in mind rather than actually playing linebacker.
You may be on to something. With the new retarded kickoff rules it will require more bigger bodies and less secondary type players.
And our coverage wasn't good during the preseason.
Amik was good. So was Vildor. Dorsey was OK. Our safeties were lax. We are thin there for sure. All backups except for Amik in the secondary. The rest were not good. Gilmore just could not make good decisions. The rest were not expected to do anything.
