OKC is in trouble. They are playing out of character right now.

Miami is making sure Durant doesn't beat them. The other guys are not sure what to do, from the looks of things......they are trying to force the ball into KD, which is not how he plays. Harden is playing horrible......and Westbrook will shoot them completely out of this series if they don't get Durant going.

Harden Game 2: 7/11 (2/3 from 3; 5/7 from the FT line) 21 pts 4 rebs 2 asts 1 stl in 35 minutes. He played bad last night, and wasn't needed in game 1.

Really not sure what you mean by "getting Durant going" either... He's scored 36, 32 and 25 in the first 3 games of the series.

Westbrook IS chucking more than usual this series (28/68 or 41% from the field so far) but he isn't shooting much below his season FG% of 44%...

If you ask me, OKC is playing very "in character" so far.

Eh, yes and no. They're in character based on who's taking shots but not so much on how its being done. Miami is really disrupting their offense. OKC likes to run a lot of simple screens, but the Heat are negating them. The result is usually Westbrook or Durant pushed out and dribbling the air out of the ball. OKC needs to do a better job of reestablishing their sets (or run something different). Last night was the worst I've seen them so far (especially in the 2nd half). Once the first option was taken away, everyone looked totally clueless.

Well you could attribute that to the fact that most of their starting lineup is under 26.

Maybe so. Perhaps I'm foolish, but I don't buy into that as much. They're young, but they do have experience. They've been in the league for 3 years at least (Durant back in 07) and have gone through playoffs before. Team-wise, they've played together longer than Miami has as well.

I don't know... DuWayne and L'Bron have been this far 3 times before. (Twice on the same team) The Durantula and Donatello have only been close.

Free throws are killing Okc. They where the best free throw shooting team in the league and missed 9 the other night. Miami is making all of theirs. Thats a big difference. Also KD has only had 5 fouls twice the whole year and now already twice in the playoffs. He is not getting the calls and the other guy is.

I love the slow, sad music they played while the Thunder were announced. Let's see if Durant, Westbrook, Harden and Ibaka can beat Lebron, Wade, Bosh and the refs.

Putting KD on Chalmers is a good way to keep him out of foul trouble. Also like the matchup of Sefolosha defending Lebron. Might as well have him defend their best player since he is the best 1 on 1 defender on the team.
